Blessing Farms: Indiana State Fair Masters 2012

In 2012 we partnered with Traditional Arts Indiana to produce this short profile of Blessing Farms, a family dairy farm and cattle breeding operation outside of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The 800 acre farm, run by brothers Steve and Stan Blessing, is home to approximately 140 Brown Swiss dairy cows, and has been in operation since 1936. The Blessing family also grows corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and wheat.

This video was produced in partnership with Traditional Arts Indiana to commemorate the Blessings being named the 2012 Indiana State Fair Masters, and was distributed on DVD at the 2012 Indiana State Fair.

Mary Schwartz: Indiana State Fair Master 2013

In the summer of 2013, we partnered with Traditional Arts Indiana to produce this short profile of Mary Schwartz, a needlepoint artist who has exhibited at the Indiana State Fair for 50 years. Earning numerous blue ribbons over the years, Mary’s skill and artistry in embroidery represents just one aspect of her contributions to the Indiana State Fair. She has worked for the past several years as coordinator of the Antiques division in the Home and Family Arts Building.

This video was produced in partnership with Traditional Arts Indiana to commemorate Schwartz being named the 2013 Indiana State Fair Master, and was distributed on DVD at the 2013 Indiana State Fair.
